Performed cooling maintenance on one straight cool system. Checked all electrical, mechanical and performance of the system. Cleared and treated the drain line and washed the outdoor coil. Customer supplied filter for replacement. The air purifier is on and working. No major issues were found. System is operational at this time.
Removed all the old duct work and plenums. Removed the old I-boxes. Installed new flex runs, new I-boxes, and new supply and return grilles. Redesigned the supply and return with new plenums. Hung all of the flex runs for best air flow. Cleared the drain line. Checked the operation of the system and it is working properly.
Spring AC System Maintenance: Conducting a comprehensive spring AC maintenance service, I prioritized the meticulous cleaning of the evaporator coil. Additionally, I inspected and straightened coil fins, cleared condensate drains to prevent blockages, ensured the integrity of the refrigerant line, and verified and tightened all electrical connections. This thorough approach guarantees optimal heat exchange efficiency, efficient airflow, smooth drainage, proper refrigerant circulation, and secure electrical components for the AC system's peak performance during the warmer months.
Performed cooling maintenance on one heat pump system. Checked all electrical, mechanical and performance of the system. Cleared and treated the drain and washed the outdoor coil. I ran the system in heating mode to check refrigerant levels.
Whole Home Generator Installation: When our residential client sought a reliable power backup solution, we recommended and expertly installed a whole home generator. After conducting a thorough assessment of the client's energy needs, we strategically positioned the generator to ensure seamless integration with the home's electrical system. The installation included connecting the generator to the main electrical panel, ensuring automatic activation during power outages. The client now enjoys uninterrupted power supply, safeguarding their home against unexpected outages and ensuring continuous comfort and security.
I replaced a UV light and installed an air purifier. I cycled power at the thermostat and confirmed system is operational at this time.
Furnace Installation: Responding to a homeowner's decision to enhance their heating system, I conducted a detailed assessment and proposed the installation of a new, high-efficiency furnace. Following a thorough discussion about the client's heating requirements and preferences, we carefully selected a furnace model that aligned with their needs. The installation process included precise placement, meticulous connection to existing ductwork, and rigorous testing to ensure optimal functionality. The outcome is an upgraded furnace that provides improved heating efficiency, enhanced comfort, and significant energy savings. The seamless installation guarantees a cozy and efficiently heated living space for the homeowner.

I found some microbial growth in the air handler and on the blower wheel. I informed the customer and presented options for repair. She declined repairs at this time. No other major issues were found, and the system is operational at this time.

Performed heating maintenance on two heat pump systems. Checked all electrical, mechanical and performance of both systems. Cleared and treated both drain lines and washed both outdoor condenser coils. I found small amounts of mold/mildew growth on the upstairs air handler at the evaporator coil and blower wheel. I presented options for repair to the customer, and he declined at this time. The downstairs system is low on refrigerant. I performed a leak search and was not able to find one at this time. The customer wants to replace the downstairs system and said he would give us a call when he’s ready for us to provide a quote. No other major issues were found, and both systems are on at this time.
Performed heating maintenance on electric heat straight cool system. I cleared and treated the drain line and wash the outdoor condenser coil. I found that the indoor blower wheel needed to be cleaned and the condenser fan motor is showing signs of overheating . I informed homeowner and he chose to just do the blower wheel cleaning at this time. I performed cleaning and cycled power at the thermostat. Everything is working at this time.
Performed semiannual maintenance on one gas furnace heating system. Inspected all Performance, Mechanical and Safety Systems. Verified all safety devices inside furnace are operating within manufacture’s specifications for operation. We did find that the fuel pressure of the gas furnace was running high on arrival. Adjusted to a nominal rating set by manufacturer. Did change one 12x12x1 fresh air filter inside the return air plenum. Also looked over the outdoor cooling system. Found that the outdoor run capacitor has failed below value across all terminals.
Completed a whole house duct cleaning. Used the Brush Beast on all of the ducts in the home to insure that they were free of dust and dirt.
Performed the heater tune-up. While performing the tune-up, I found that the dual capacitor was low in value. No other major issues were found. Presented repair options and the homeowner decided to have the capacitor replaced today. Repair completed and system is operational.
Performed cooling maintenance. Checked electrical, mechanical and performance of the system. Cleared and treated the drain line and washed the condenser coil. I found both the coil and blower wheel covered in mold and dirt. No other major issues found. I presented the customer with options to repair, and he chose to have the blower wheel replaced and do an in place coil cleaning. Replaced blower wheel. While replacing the wheel I wiped and cleaned the blower housing and around the air handler as best as I could. I also did in in place coil cleaning which took off a lot of dog hair and gunk that was in the coil. After performing the work, I turned the power back on and cycled the thermostat. The system is on and running at this time.
